The story behind Zavari

It started with a question on the flight home.

On the flight home from a holiday, Cheyenne asked why putting different outfits together was so difficult, and why there wasn’t an easier way to do it.

Finding clothes was one thing. Turning pieces from different websites into a complete look meant searching, comparing and trying to imagine how everything would work together.

She explored a few concepts. I started building. That was the beginning of what became Zavari.

I’m Derick Bank. Cheyenne came up with the original idea; I began turning it into a product, first myself and then with the team.

From a first prototype to a team

I built the first version in Lovable. It gave us something we could look at, try and improve: an early way to bring outfit ideas to life on screen.

What began as a prototype grew into work with designers and developers. We refined the experience, built the underlying technology and worked on connecting real retailer collections.

Through those changes, the same question stayed at the centre: how can we make putting an outfit together feel easier, more visual and more personal?

What we’re exploring now

Zavari is built around a simple experience: describe what you’re looking for, then swipe directly on the person to change the top, trousers and shoes separately. Keep the pieces you like while you explore the rest.

Zavari turns your request into outfit suggestions that take your style, occasion and budget into account. You decide which pieces belong in your outfit.

Clothing from different stores can become part of the same look. You see the combination come together instead of having to imagine it across separate product pages.

The journey also takes me into stores. I speak with owners, call brands, show the concept and listen. From the first connection in Den Bosch to the conversations that followed, each step helps us understand what matters on both sides.

For shoppers, the goal is to discover combinations they want to wear. For retailers, it’s a new way for their collection to be discovered as part of those combinations. An independent store can sit alongside other brands in a customer’s next outfit.

Personal sizing and fit guidance are planned. We’re exploring how measurements could support more informed choices in a future version of Zavari.

We’re still building, testing and learning. I want the people using Zavari and the retailers joining it to help shape what comes next.

Be part of the story

If you’ve ever found a piece you love but struggled to build an outfit around it, this journey is for you. Request beta access to be considered for an invitation to try Zavari and tell us what would make you come back.

If you own a store or brand, let’s explore how your collection can become part of the looks people create.

An idea from Cheyenne became a prototype. A prototype became a team. What comes next, we want to build with you.
